Y5 Weeks have been listening to 'The Bad Beginning' by Lemony Snicket. The author uses complex and confusing vocabulary throughout it's pages which gave us the idea to examine some of our very own endemic sayings. We created class leprauchauns around St Patrick's Day and then looked at phrases we might hear throughout the highways of Ireland and tried to 'decode' their meaning.
