We loved reading the story of ‘Stick Man’ in connection with our focus material of the week, wood.
After reading the story, we enjoyed going on our own journey to collect different materials, both natural and man-made. We attached the different materials to our stick using elastic bands. Each group shared with the rest of the class about what materials we found and then sorted into ‘natural’ and ‘man-made.’
