We have had great fun exploring our Colour topic through Play Based Learning. We have focused on the colours; red, blue, yellow and green. We have then also explored colour mixing and have particularly enjoyed our science experiments!! We used the story of Little Red Riding Hood when learning about red, Lara the Yellow Ladybird when learning about yellow, The Blue Balloon when learning about blue and finally, The Very Hungry Caterpillar whenever learning about green. We have also been working hard to develop colour through our numeracy work starting with sorting for colour and we can now create our own pattern. Have a look at what we’ve been up to!
