Some people think the work has stopped in Y5 just because the ‘silly season’ has arrived! Oh on….not in Y5!
We gave our grey matter a rigorous workout this morning. Working collaboratively, each group were given ten problems to solve. The children had to draw on their knowledge of the addition and subtraction processes and associated language to solve some word problems. The children used their retrieval skills to determine which process they needed to apply!
